Our country has made a choice about who should be president — and while this is obviously not a choice many of us would've made, and certainly not trans and LGBTQ youth — this is democracy and this is life. Now we live it.
Hundreds of thousands of trans and LGBTQ youth, the families, friends and allies out there, are all asking a similar question: How do we survive? This message is important to convey to trans and LGBTQ youth: What you do now has never been more important, especially if you live in a red state. Even though you had nothing to do anti-trans and anti-lgbtq laws and rhetoric, or the outcome of this election, you now have a vital project ahead of you — maybe the most important project you’ve ever had: Please watch this video for three really important jobs you have now.
